Micronizer™ Infrared Thermal Processing Technology
Short‑time, high‑temperature infrared treatment for food and feed materials
The Micronizer™ range of infrared processing machines has been operating worldwide for more than 50 years. Designed and manufactured in the UK, these systems deliver rapid, controllable thermal treatment for cereals, pulses, oilseeds, cocoa, brewing ingredients, pet food, horse feed, and high‐performance animal diets.
Using mid‐infrared energy, the Micronizer™ heats product internally without excessive moisture loss. This improves digestibility, reduces anti‐nutritional factors, enhances flavour, and optimises downstream processing.
Every stage of the process is adjustable, making the Micronizer™ one of the most flexible and reliable thermal systems available today.

Engineering & Construction
Designed for industrial reliability and long‑term performance
The Micronizer™ is engineered for continuous industrial duty. Its frame is designed in 3D CAD and manufactured from mild steel with a durable powder‑coated finish.
All product‑contact components are built from stainless steel 304, a corrosion‑resistant food‑grade alloy chosen for its strength, cleanability, and long service life.
Ceramic infrared heater elements operate in controlled sections, while Siemens PLCs, inverters, and industrial actuators provide precise process control, stable operation, and configurable recipe management.

Testing and Warranty
Proven performance, validated at factory and on site
Performance is validated through both factory assessment testing and site assessment testing after commissioning, giving customers confidence that each Micronizer™ system has been checked for correct operation before handover and confirmed under real installation conditions.
This approach helps verify process performance, control functionality, safety systems, and overall equipment reliability before the system enters full production.
Warranty
All Micronizer™ systems are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty, effective from the date the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) is successfully completed. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions and includes repair or replacement of components found to be faulty during this period.
Certification & Compliance
All Micronizer™ systems are built to UKAS and CE standards, ensuring conformity with safety, gas handling, electrical protection, and industrial machinery directives.
Servicing and Spare Parts
A full range of spare parts is available, supported by servicing, maintenance, safety checks, certification assistance, and equipment overhauls to help customers maintain uptime and keep systems performing reliably.
