New Name, Same Engineering Focus
May 2026
Maze Process Solutions is the new name under which the company’s process engineering, micronizing technology, and plant‑building capabilities are now presented.
The updated branding brings all activities together under a single, clear identity—without changing the core expertise, the people behind it, or the technology that has been developed over decades.
A Technology Built Over Three Generationss
The company’s roots go back to the early 1970s, when David Newton invented the Micronizer and established Micronizing Company (UK). His work introduced short‑time, high‑temperature infrared processing to the food and feed industries, creating a technology that would be adopted worldwide.
Over the years, the machines evolved through continuous redesign, new materials, improved controls, and expanded applications across cereals, cocoa, brewing ingredients, oilseeds, and specialty food products.
When Micronizing Company (UK) closed in 2020, the founder’s grandson, Guy Martin, continued the development of the technology—modernising the equipment, expanding into full process plant solutions, and bringing the brand under the Maze name.
Why the Rebrand Matters
The new Maze Process Solutions identity reflects the company’s broader scope today: not only infrared micronizing machines, but complete processing lines, engineering design, installation, commissioning, and long‑term support.
It is a continuation of the same proven technology, now delivered with a clearer structure, a unified brand, and a forward‑looking commitment to reliability, innovation, and practical engineering.
