Developed for a North American grains processor, this compact solution delivers a complete thermal processing line pre assembled, tested, and commissioned before shipment.
Integrated Skid Mounted Infrared Processing, Flaking & Cooling System
To minimise on site installation work and shorten project timelines, Maze Process Solutions designed and built a modular Micronizing system configured entirely around two standard 20 ft container frames.
This approach eliminates out of gauge transport requirements and significantly reduces logistical costs.
The system includes:
- Fully electric infrared Micronizer
- Flaking Mill
- Diverter system
- Down Draft Cooler
All equipment is integrated, wired, and mechanically connected within a compact footprint capable of processing up to 300 kg/hr.

Engineering & Design Approach
Using precision 3D modelling, the complete process line was designed as a modular, container based system prior to manufacture. This ensured:
- Accurate spatial planning within standard container dimensions
- Efficient routing of electrical and mechanical interconnections
- Optimised operator access and maintenance layout
Factory Assembly & In House Commissioning
Once manufactured, the system was fully assembled and commissioned in house. This included:
- Electrical wiring and distribution panel integration
- Mechanical alignment and interconnection
- Functional testing of all equipment
- Full process commissioning and performance verification
Rapid Installation & Startup
By transferring installation and commissioning work from the customer’s site to our facility, the system arrives production ready.
Upon delivery, the customer’s on site requirements are limited to:
- Providing local electrical power to the distribution panel
- Connecting product feed and discharge points
No extensive installation, alignment, or commissioning work is required. As a result, the system can move from delivery to operation within days rather than weeks.
